This line never works but it is a line that gets deployed more often than not among our kind.

Her look has been echoed by many women who then end the conversation quickly soon after a line like this is spoken.

It's a cruel world. Ask any stamp collector and they will tell you the same.

A stamp collector is called a philatelist. I don't know what the official latinesque term is for a pipe collector.

If only there were more advertisements like the first three, nowadays, the world be a better place----even more so if they were pipe ads.

We have more than enough of the kind of advertisements pictured in the last panel of this strip----more than enough--- so much so that it's stifling.

I saw a sign at a pipe shop one time.

"Thank you for smoking."

I haven't thought about that sound effects guy probably since this movie came out. I don't remember his name.

Benny Hill was the best of the best. A rollercoaster ride that actually entertained. If Benny Hill could not invoke at least a chucle you probably were asleep. It wasn't the blatant slapstick so much as the way it was presented. He could take a worn out joke or comedy routine and turn it into something truly funny. The gals didn't look half bad either.
