One of the more amusing years for us, the children decided they should leave Santa a map of the floor plan with directions to get to the bathroom, just in case he needed to make a pit stop.

Santa used the bathroom, and the signs he had been there were that he left the seat up, and his sooty hands really grimed up the soap. The children were more excited about this than you would believe.

My wife is nuts about Christmas movies. We were watching one the other night and I pointed out that Santa no longer smokes a pipe in any of the modern movies
