When I was a kid, the magician in our town was called Sim Sala Bim. It's no wonder I love this song. I've been singing the refrain all day long to myself as I go about my errands:
Zimzalabim...zimzalabim-bim-bim.
Chinese girl pop will take over the world someday, but you already know what I think about that after that cheep-cheep-cheep song.

This is one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite singers: Liv Kristine. This is her old band Leaves' Eyes. She sings this with her sister Carmen Elise Espenaes with whom she is now sharing vocal duties with in the band Midnattsol.

I was listening to this on my way to work this morning while smoking PA in the Kaywoodie Majestic. My favorite line has always been "and the graveyards of the rusted automobiles". Keeping all of Louisiana in prayer.
