Who knew. For some reason I never pegged you as a metalhead. Opeth is awesome. Since we are posting metal, I think PSF needs more Mastodon.

@sisyphus Black Flag with Rollins in late '81 was one of the first punk shows I went to see live, as a 16 y/o. Descendants, Red Brigade, and Meat Puppets also on the bill. I love their early stuff.

Some great choices on this page. First Punk show I saw was the Ramones in 77. They played at U.C. San Diego when I was in college there.

First and only time I saw the Ramones was at the first US Festival - remember that, @Middle Earth?
