I made sure to put my good underwear on. The ones without the holes. I mean they've got the usual holes for legs and such, but nothing out if the ordinary.
I wonder if "blame Wildcat" will become a theme here? - Fr_Tom

I’ve been fishing quite a bit lately. I usually catch and release but... the mother in law wanted trout for supper so I kept this 17” brown for her and I kept my first trout caught on a fly for myself. I will be eating it tomorrow night with some fiddleheads. I have wanted to fly fish since I could remember and decided to give it a solid try this year. I have a lot to learn but landing five fish on a dry fly tonight was absolutely the best damn time I’ve had with my pants on in a long time.

enjoying the peaceful sunset on the river. The fish stopped biting and then I figured out why. Mr. Otter swam right up to me. Seems he is a better fisherman than me. Otters are cute and all but they usually won’t leave an area until there are no fish left to eat... oh well nature will be nature.
