Glenlivet is an old friend.
Laphroig when I have the cash for it. I love me the peat.
McLelland when I'm feeling something sweet and flowery.

I finished my last age stated bottle a couple months ago with my neighbor. The 12 yo had caramel,it had been my favorite pour for the last 8-10 years.I have refused to buy the new EC because I'm told it is now a mixed 7-12 yo yet the price went up with the new packaging.Pretty crappy way to treat EC enthusiasts in my opinion.I'll give it a try when we're in Vegas this fall.......Atomic Liquors has always had a bottle on the shelf in the past so I'm betting they still do.I think it was $4 or $5 a glass in the past.......for that price I'll give it a shot.Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 10:27 pm Since I'm drinking Elijah Craig at the moment (the no age statement stuff) I'll say it has a sweetness but my tastebuds don't pick it up as a caramel flavor sweet
There would be no bourbon, if not for the exiled papist Scots.
EDIT: I may have posted in the wrong thread... Monkey shoulder post redirected my train of thought to Scotch, away from the Jack on the rocks I was "sipping" and was supposed to mention.
There's a reason I rarely drink Jack Daniels...
