Running a cup of water through my wife’s Kruieg doesn’t count?

My Kettle stopped working. I think it got some rainwater on it during the move in the cargo compartment on top of the car. I went ahead and bought a Govee Smart Kettle. Can run it through your phone and set it to start in the morning by itself. Very cheap too as it is on sale. I’ll post my thoughts when I get it.

Hi @Piping Abe sir. Yes, still around, thank you for asking! I was about to pick up the pipe again when the doc said my cholesterol was up a little so I'm just taking it easy at the moment, hoping diet will sort it out. I actually found it easy to cut down with lozenges, first had one every hour then 2 etc. I still have one when I get annoyed about stuff (so most days lol!) I hope you're doing okay, anyway, are you still enjoying plenty of tea??!

Good to hear from you buddy! Its been too quiet around here. Hope your health improves so you can join us back on the WAYS thread.

I am still drinking a lot of Tea. I actually have made it through most of my loose leaf from my first order and purchased some Twinnings English Breakfast, Scottish Breakfast and Darjeeling. Been enjoying those a lot. I feel like the Irish Breakfast packs more of a caffiene punch than all my other Teas.

I am actually looking into Pu Erh Tea and the very short steeping method they use when they brew the Tea 10-20 times. It is a Chinese thing. Very curious about that. They have all the fancy Tea Ware and use a Gaiwan and such. I’m sure you’ve seen it. Any experience with that?

I seem to think it went quiet last summer, guess everyone is either busy doing stuff or too hot to bother with the internet! I like Twinings too, mainly the English Breakfast tea. No, never heard of that tea. You should perhaps try regular green tea, first, before trying anything farout! I did that and felt awful after :barf: You should look up the effect green tea has, it's different to regular tea in that it has something in it that relaxes you, whilst the caffeine stimulates you. So you feel awake but calm.

I'll keep checking in from time to time. Still got all my gear and the lair is good to go again. I just to want to try to avoid meds, really 😒👨‍⚕️

Truly miss the time when I didn't find a job. During those days I can drink tea or beers for the whole day. Nowadays my body just feels tired and empty.

Wish I did this from the start. I ordered a bunch of Samplers. So far i’ve had probably between 10-20 samples and i’ve found 4 i’d reorder. Order a bunch of a tea you never tried isn’t the best thing to do as now I have a lot of Tea that I barely drink. But I do use it to make Iced Tea. Tea is so cheap, like Pipe Tobacco. It’s easy to order a bunch.

Adiago has great single serve samples. Open the bag, pour it in. Doesn’t get any easier. Then I just add it to my favorites on the Website. I’ve been really liking the Green Teas. Thanks for the suggestion @ric03

Fresh Cuppa Earl Grey in the morning is just hard to beat. I could never do coffee. Never been a coffee drinker. Tea is to pipes as coffee is to cigarettes. There, I said it 🤣
