Not entirely. It can be bitter though if you like it really strong, which I happen to like.

Any of you folks try the Bustelo Supreme?

Yes. Decent in the drip maker, good as french press, very good in the moka pot with perfect technique.

I remembered to look when I made covfefe this morning. I get the 10 ounce cans of Bustelo from Walmart and they come in at $3.30, rounded up. It makes a super good cup of coffee. I like to mix it with Great Value Colombian.Kevin Keith wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:30 pmI could go look in the cupboard and see but I'm too lazy. Maybe I'll look the next time I get up. lolFr_Tom wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 6:07 amI think the "bricks" are less than a pound. I have to order mine from Walmart. Having my first cup of Bustelo this morning and I can see why it's popular. I was placing an order with Walmart and I'd rather have surgery with no anesthesia than use the pick up at the local store. Needed to add a few bucks to the order to get the free shipping and Bustelo sealed the deal

Man , I love that stuff . I ran out and haven't made it to where I buy it . Currently drinking great value French Roast, whichnis actually pretty good . The wife has keurig stuff and I'll have one of those ... i like green mountain dark magic and Bustelo in those things .
Oh , I broke my French press last night . My poor Bodum is gone .. I'll order another tonight

I like the 3 lb bags of French roast from Costco. Very robust, near expresso in strength, great price. And, I just ordered an overhaul gasket kit for my la Pavoni traditional expresso press. Hopefully soon I can make a cup without water all over the counter. Can't complain about it, I've had it for 25 years.
