I’ve wanted a “claw meer” ever since I became aware of Jeff Davis’ pipe. I am in Birmingham this week and stopped into my favorite B&M, The Briary. Talking to Skip, the owner, and what do I see.... the drilling looks spot on, it’s light and a spigot mount. I walked away, came back and after a second look I anted up for a proper meerschaum pipe. She smokes great too. Not exactly like Jeff’s but a close tip of the hat.

That's a killer pipe! You enabler! I would have never known that Paul's had new old stock Custombilts, and on sale too. Temptation got the best of me and now I"ve got a Custombilt coming my way.

That's absolutely the last pipe I'm gonna buy this year!!! (til Missouri Meerschaum comes out with their corn dog, or Corn Cob Nation announces their POY, or PSF offers a POY, or I'm sure I'll find another excuse  )
