Thanks, I'm sure I will. Saw it on the cover of the Pipes & Cigars sales magazine and had to check it out. I almost backed out, but then I discovered it was an option in the $89 Christmas special. Must be a popular pipe because it looked like they sold out of this model when I just checked again today.

Oh, and I had to pick up some Black Ambrosia per one of your posts, and that's probably what I'll burn in the new pipe.

Longshanks wrote: Fri Dec 06, 2024 10:55 am Pipes & Cigars has a decent little Christmas special going on. $89 for a pipe, 2 tins of tobacco, a pipe tool or lighter, and a pipe bag. The pipe I picked actually cost $89, so the $30 in tobacco plus a lighter and pipe bag was bonus. Really decent deal if you can find a pipe you like, and the tobacco selection in the deal was pretty decent as well. I remember getting a Peterson's Irish Oak, don't remember what my second selection was. Anyway, here's what they call the Viking Bent Tomato... not sure I agree with the shape name, but I grabbed it anyway:

Don't know if you can tell from the pic, but the stem doesn't belong. The pipe needs work, but the stem is in great condition. Looks like it originally belonged to an old Linkman. I may have a Linkman in a box somewhere that could fit this one. Anywhoo... McLovin the ol' pipe rack. :-)

I love getting pipes like that . Either i keep it the way it is and use it as a work pipe or I totally refinish it and see how it goes . I love old Yello Boles

Threw a little support to Graywoodie/Kaywoodie. Stock pic is a little tiny, but you get the idea.
