I will stand up in defense of a pear wood pipe !
Good smokers but i would consider them as a dry clean only as if it were a corn based product

This one is a pear wood pipe, it's very light weight and smokes great! I just need to replace the cheap plastic stem with some vulcanite and it'll be a go-to :D

... and you can put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!

Let's see a picture. Fruit and Nut woods, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, etc., are fine to smoke from but can be more prone to splitting. If it's got thick walls and a beefy shank, doesn't run you too much, and you like it go for it. I've had pipes in all sorts of other woods.
has a neat look to it, the 9 mm caught my eye

Postman was nice to me today.
My first Pete
My first lighter over $20— Kiribi Kabuto
A box of heaven slices.
This is my favorite purchase of the year thus far. I am in love with that Pete: shape, fishtail stem, grain contrast, size. If I didn't already have a Dunhill Rollagas I'd 100% buy a Kiribi and FVF in this size is just a man who knows what he likes kinda purchase.
I feel in love with it he Pete when I saw it. The first time I saw one was in a post from Thelonious Monkfish. I was already shopping for a new pipe and I flipped when I saw his. I really debated the same pipe in an apple and a pot, almost got the apple cause it had a vulcanite stem, but love the shape of this prince. The drilling is a lil off in my opinion, it is difficult to pass a cleaner, but smokes flawlessly.
There is some Birdseye on the bottom that I swear looks like schnauzer looking atcha.
The Kiribi, I can’t put it down.
SG FVF. Sure wish I could get 10lbs. Would love to get some plug and would do some crazy stuff for Kendal plug.
This box might last a month if I’m lucky
