I'm salivating just looking at it. This was my first order from Smoking Pipes,as recommended, so far so good. I'll let you know how it goes.. I think Smoking Pipes has a better selection than pipesandcigarsPiping Abe wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2024 2:26 pmYou got some good stuff coming! Looking forward to your impressions

Took a trip to Chesapeake Pipe and Cigar today as I was getting low or out of some favorites. The interstate (I-97) was bumper to bumper so I exited onto local roads that I know so well from cycling down that way. No more traffic. Anyway, got some Haunted Bookshop, Yorktown, Bajou Morning, and Kendal Kentucky vintage cut, along with a new Diplomat cob.

Also have som PS LTF and American Patriot to smoke now and then. I thought prices would go up with new tobacco taxes as of July 1st but they didn’t. Cigarettes did go up, now about 15 bucks for major brands here in the People’s Republic of Maryland. Glad I quit many years ago.

Along with the pipe, I purchased a few samples of things I've been wanting to try for awhile - MacBaren Plumcake, Sutliff Mixture 79, and Sutliff Voodoo Queen. The smell out of the box of these bagged samples was pretty amazing! Plus I couldn't resist the '22 Cringle Flake with the 20 y/o perique (on sale!) and some Swisher giants at $5. The samples are quite ample. Now that our weather has cooled down I'm looking forward to trying these aros with Latakia and the M79, which is legendary for so many reasons.
