I remember he used to make and sell bay rum. I kept meaning to get some from him, I had heard amazing things about it, but I kept putting it off. Now it is too late.
He was also a font of knowledge on all things straight razor/wet shave related.

I was fortunate enough that he let me try it out before the big batch that he sold was made. I have about half a bottle left using it only on special occasions or when I’m feeling like I need a lift. It’s just as good and maybe better than you heard and Moo was kind enough to share his trials and final recipe on the old sight. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I’d copied it down.
