I am a pie guy myself. Love me a piece of Rhubarb ala mode. 2nd place is a good banana pudding, southern style... With Nilla wafers!

I must admit to being confused. Great Basin, Mohave, Chihuahuan and Sonoran, are the big deserts in USA ???
Now Dessert, Spotted Dic or Jam Roly Poly !

I love cake. All kinds, except fruit cake. I'll eat it but if there's other options is getting looked over.

This is Gooey Butter Cake. A St Louis favorite.

This is my last piece. It is quite rich.

It's actually 2 pieces but,

I had tuna fish and carrots for lunch today, so...

I'm gonna eat the WDT.

What about banana cream pie? I love a good cream pie followed by a machine made cigar. It's like sitting on top of the world. YMMV.

@arturo7 and @mrpipster noted. I found a recipe for it online. I will be trying my hand at this delicacy when Texas recovers from being snapped back into the 1800's.

Had this for dessert tonight. It wasn’t homemade but it sure was tasty. Turtle pie. My wife got it from the Schwanns man. It’s been in the freezer for a couple of weeks just noticed it this morning and decided I would take it for a spin. Very glad I did. Is schwanns nation wide, do you guys have schwanns? My grandparents used to always get the vanilla ice cream in the collectors tin when I was a kid. My Nana would keep her odds and ends in one of the empty tins kind of like a junk drawer.
