Both cherry and raspberry are red, but they are different shades of red. That's why I always wear my eyeglasses when I'm picking Tootsie Pops. I don't like the cherry, but I'll purchase one in a pinch, if I can pair the cherry with something other than red. If the shade of the wrapper is off a little bit, that telltale raspberry red, it's always a no go for me. It doesn't pair well with anything---even the finest cabernet.

It's not like I've spent a lot of time overthinking this, though it may seem that way to some. I just like what I like and I don't like what I don't like. I'm discerning. I look forward to a brief relaxing sweet treat in the afternoons of my often-harrowing days between impossible tasks. It's nice when that sweet break is just right the right flavor. Color me orange.

I had some windshield time yesterday. Would have been perfect for a TP. Stopped at 2 quickie marts near mi casa. Nada.
