My old DMR, which I still have. 20" Vepr chambered in 6.5 Grendel.

The new one I brought home Thurs night. 20" .308. Best trigger I've ever felt, on anything. Zero travel, 2 lb break, feels like less than 1/64" to reset. Serious rifle. Couldn't be happier with it.

I know I should be drooling over the new JP, but holy shit that Vepr.

Took it out yesterday. I have never before owned a rifle that consistently allowed me to put bullets in the same hole or that effortlessly let me take shots past 600 yards. Also, between the crazy brake, the reduced mass bcg, and the tungsten weighted buffer, it recoils like a 5.56. The nicest firearm I'll ever own, very happy.

This is significant "Boom Stick".

I'm assuming you either have a corner on the ammo market or had enough reload materials ;)
