That is a 6" Baldor. I believe it is set at 3600rpm, which is preferable for the material removal I am usually up to.

Delta makes an affordable variable in 6in. 2000-3400 rpm. It's nice and has a light. If your in the market.

Baldor is still made right near us in Fort Smith. I own two. You can't beat them.
