Clay pipes

This has probably been asked before. Do clay pipes color like meerschaum? I've thought about getting one.

They do color.
My wife got one years ago and smoked , at that time ,Altadis creme Brulee , and it went many shades darker within a week
That was pretty crazy cool but in general they color out

A clay pipe takes on a pleasant patina from the inside working it's way to the pipe's outside where you polish it with the natural oils of your fingertips.
