Hi All!

I am getting back into my pipes and tobacco after a long hiatus. I was on the good old forum in 2013 as "Smithy".

Time passes and after a new marriage and some kids I am getting back to it. I was walking around Newport RI on July 4th with my wife and we happened to find a smoke shop.. I went in on a whim and they had some nice Nordings and Petersons. I picked up a nice Nording and some PS Nougat and was back to it. I have been digging through my pipes and tobacco cellar and it has been a blast. Last night I got to talking with my wife after the kids were in bed and was telling her how there was a forum I used to be on that I really liked but I could not find it. She in her infinite wisdom said "You could always find another one...." So that landed me here last night. It is great to find a place with other people who love pipes and tobacco again.

I hope all is well today with everyone. Happy smoking!

It's always nice to have another Nutmegger in the mix.

I no longer live in Connecticut but I did wear my Hartford Yard Goats tee shirt the other day. You are in good company.
