Hello everyone, from Detroit. I've been a pipe smoker off and on since the mid-80s. I rediscovered pipe smoking last year. The landscape has changed a lot in the past 10-12 years, since I’d last smoked a pipe. Not much in the way of pipe/tobacco shops in my part of the world anymore. I've been visiting this forum for a few months and joined today. I've already learned so much here. I’m looking forward to joining in the fun.

FYI: If you ever travel that direction - Paul's Pipe Shop in Flint is treated as a Mecca for pipe smokers.

Thanks. I'm just an 1 1/2 hour drive from there. I hope to get to Paul's one day soon. I think I actually met him at a local pipe show a very long time ago.
