While I am not a Penzance fan in general, I've smoked some 2007 Penzance and some at only a couple years, and fresh. The stuff from 2007 basically has no latakia presence at all, and it tastes like musty dusty oriental. Even at two years the Latakia has seriously diminished from fresh.
If you can get your hands on some Stonehaven, that is probably one of the only things out of the Germain house that has really blown my skirt up.
