What Are You Smoking August 2019
SWRA in my new Nording Compass. The Compass reminds me of a Falcon except the bowl is not removable. It is nothing like a Kirsten. I know because I was thinking of saying, "The Compass reminds me of a Falcon or a Kirsten," which it does because all three pipes have a lot of metal (I think aluminum in all three) but I just smoked my Kirsten and smoking the Kirsten is nothing like smoking the Compass. The Falcon falls between these two extremes so I feel comfortable comparing the Compass to a Falcon, but not to a Kirsten.
There is no comparison between a Compass and a Yello-Bowl Spartan.
I should write up a full review of the Compass. It's not a bad pipe and it only cost, I think, 40 bucks. If it had cost more I probably wouldn't have ponied up. Who needs more pipe reviews, anyway?
-----The SWRA is delicious, by the way.

In what way? The butter used is ghee, or clarified, just the oil with solids removed. If you already suffer from cholesterol issues or diabetes you might not want to consume too much of anything listed but the only item that can raise cholesterol, the good kind no less, is cashews. Ghee doesn't raise it and can actually lower it in healthy people. It's better for you than butter. Good on burns too. Regular consumption of paneer, which is high in calcium and protein, can help with weight loss as well. That's why I make sure to grab some naan/kulcha/etc and a lassi or the occasional soda, trying to keep what I have.Bruyere_Royale wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 12:24 pmThis all sounds like a clogged artery to me.Thelonious monkfish wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 9:15 amI recommend it. Chunks of Indian style cottage cheese in a creamy tomato/cashew/butter gravy with chili powder and masala. Get some garlic naan for dipping and a lassi to wash it down. Mango is good but I'm a fan of the rose/cardamom variety. Some gulab jamun for dessert if I'm in the mood.MikeDennison wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 6:50 am Never had makhani...not sure I've seen it on the menu at my favorite place.

Pardon me dr. but I lived in the Lower East Side of Manhattan for a decade, I know Indian food and believe you me, that cuisine will clog an artery or three and make you burn on the way out . Lol...Thelonious monkfish wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 5:52 pmIn what way? The butter used is ghee, or clarified, just the oil with solids removed. That burger doesn't look appealing to me at all.

Stopped off at the local gun club on the way home to see if I can go there to shoot instead of driving 15 miles to shoot at another range. They said I can come for free on Sunday's since I'm up the road, good to know.
