Chacom has one of the best logos in the business and they're good pipes, no doubt.

That said, when I want a French pipe, I'm always going to go with a Butz-Choquin because it's more fun to say.

This is the last thing I need to see to reignite my PAD:

This is a pipe that hits my sweet spot.
I agree, Butz-Choquin are also fine pipes, I have a few and have already posted a pic here ...
however the pipe in your link is not my fav. design ... too technical and not enough wood around (the same with Falcon), but that´s just my taste ... (sorry)

I´ve once been in Saint-Claude, the center of French pipe production where Chacom and Butz-Choquin are located - it´s a rather ugly town in beetween high mountains, not a beautiful spot - and the pipes in the shops are not cheap either ... but I bought one ...

BTW: GBD ... although founded in Paris and later became British, has it´s origins also in Saint-Claude, at least partially ...

LC Hazelnut in this Aristomatic pot. Bustelo in my mug. This pic is with flash, and shows the cool rustification better than without. Or maybe it's spot carving. I dunno.
