Gents , Ol Ruff has had a very shit week . 2 deaths in the family . Im at my mas house for a bit longer and will return home Sunday . It was tough watching my step father pass . Some things youll never unsee .

I popped a tin of Petersons Golden blend and have yet to smoke it . Ive opted for Elizabethan and SP BC so far this horrid trip . Tomorrow , Ill be firing up the golden blend and taking some pleasure time before I go home Sunday . Im soooo looking forward to smoking that New Kaywoodie Relief grain .. its dreamy

I will observe that a death like this is always more complicated than you think. You understand people are mortal. If they have been sick or in hospice, you know the time is going to be sooner instead of later. You think you are ready. When the time comes, it can just take the wind out of your sails in a way you had not expected.
