Cut the back lawn, cleaned up the raspberry and blackberry canes,and cleaned up a couple flower beds. Time for a break! Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and some water.

Sutliff Vanilla Custard in this no name "Grapes" pot. I've had this stuff for a few years, and it's just now dry enough to be a passable smoke. Still lots of flavor, though.

Prepped one of the big garden boxesand planted more lettuce and radish seeds. My wife and I whipped up a pot of chili for dinner. Kids coming over. Friar's Bayou in the Monday cob on the back porch.

Sounds awesome. How long is the growing season up there? About what months?

It's very early still. Okay for lettuce, radish, beets, peas, spinach and such. The real growing season, where you can grow tomatoes, pepper, cucumbers and eggplants doesn't start for another month. Mid-May to early October.

Eggplant is the only food uve ever found that I can not eat.....its gross.
