You are going to keep posting pictures of that Omega until I'm going to have to ask about the blue stem. I have an Omega and I do enjoy smoking it, but I'm beginning to wonder if I might enjoy it more with a more colorful stem

I got that pipe/stem from rekamepip and I gotta tell you, I love the feel and smokability of that stem. I can't stand the original Omega faux P-lip stems, so this is a definite upgrade. That Omega and my Norm modified cob are the only two funkadelic stems I have and I enjoy them both. Rekamepip could tell you where he gets those stems...unless it's a state secret!

Re visiting Rattray's Black Mallory, another gift from Houtenziel. Its kinda of a long story, but maybe close to 2 years ago? Hout and myself decided to buy basically every blend on Smoking Pipes and trade, so we can figure out what we truly like. From Unicorns to all Sammy G twists, everything that was out there. Long story short is, at the end of the run, he was smoking Carter Hall and PA, and i was smoking Lane 1Q exclusively.
Every week we had anywhere from 5-20 blends in the mailbox exchanging our thoughts on all these blends. We never bought the same blends always different, so we can trade each other. Black Mallory is a throw back from those days, we both did not like that blend. Lets see how it aged?
