Me too! My fave pipe is a beat up GBD bent bully. I love it and often choose it over much "nicer" or prettier pipes.

It's a lazy day for me, so I got to smoke a bit more. One bowl of EMP in a Kiko meer apple, a bowl of nightcap in a BC prince...and I'm trying to decide what I will pair with a couple fingers of Elijah Craig bourbon tonight.

I'm sure that's a good office pipe, you can set it down while you write.
I do wish it were a sitter. I am a pretty serious clencher most of the time. It is nice to be able to put one down when someone comes by the office and not have ashes spill out.
I've sold off a few Cherrywood pipes that wouldn't sit. Drove me crazy...
You'd be amazed at how many carvers struggle to make a sitter sit

Cherrywood's that are too top heavy are uncomfortable to clench. Finding the perfect balance seems easier said than done.

Agreed. I'm going to have one made at some point I just don't know when

I think that a great cherrywood is a Dr Grabow 25 in the Continental line. They're not much for sitting though. The ones I've had were hit and miss for sitting, not real stable.
