Well the subway line that takes me to work today is shut down, so I will stand-by at home with another cuppa and a Falcon filled with Ennerdale. I'll try and deal with the frustration... I hope my manager couldn't hear the smile on my face.

Out of curiousity - how many bowls would you say you get through in an average day? No judgement whatsoever... more like jealousy, honestly.
It is probably 12(ish) bowls a day. A better metric might be about a 12 oz tub every two weeks. In the late 70's and early 80's when I was a one-blend smoker, that was the rate for sure. I think that has been reasonably constant.

the only codger i interact with on occasion probably could not answer this question. he continuously scoops and lights randomnly, occasional ash dump, doesn't really pay much attention
