The Etudiant line old has this as one of their shapes . Its super similar to one of the Bent Bob shapes from back in the 80's . Like the old Bent Bobs , its smaller and super lightweight . I haven't purchased a pipe this year .... yet . This is the first pipe in a while that stands out for me

My old bent Bob was a total out and about pipe for me . Its clenched like its wasnt even there and the shape is almost poker like , so placing it down is easy and stable . For an on the go pipe I thought it was awesome . Im really glad to see this shape/size around again . It was comfortable to hold even though it was small

The new Ropp pipes are made out of very very old french stummels found in the old factory. They are very light, smaller all day smokers. They are the best deal in the pipe smoking. They were even cheaper but word is getting out and the prices went up, so grab one if you wanna try it. I am a big fan. I have vintage Ropps but no current production. But I have never heard anything bad. They even make some shapes with horn stems.

Ropp makes a nice pipe for sure. The old stummels make a difference.

Gee thanks @Ruffinogold. I’ve now spent the last hour looking at Ropps online.
