I see Brigham system pipes are going new from Smoking Pipes for around $45, which seems like a much better deal, and probably a better filter system. Or a new Grabow, of course.

...but after reading this string I think I'll save the $ for something more worthwhile.

I'm not one to talk badly about our neighbors to the North but, I have to admit, they don't know much about pipes. Their pipes are good for them, and God bless every Canadian, one and all. They're good pipes for the Great White North.

On the old PSF, FlyTier (or something similar) was a big fan of Brigham pipes. He was a heck of a nice guy and his YouTube channel was great. I think he's all but disappeared sadly.
