Ran some errands before the storms arrive later. 3 Friars in the Savinelli Capri. I widened the draft ever so slightly which has eliminated a slight gurgle problem. Also had some Half and Half in the same pipe on the way home.

You guys getting this rain are lucky I’m not a rich man who can fly whenever I want to, I’d be showing up unannounced just to sit on y’all’s porches during the rainstorms.
Bring an umbrella. I used to be able to smoke on the covered patio until my wife planted roses nearby. Something about a tobacco virus. Now I just have a screen house (tent) but it’s only good for light rain.

Got all the shopping put away and now smoking Half and Half in the Capri. 75 degrees and overcast. Radar says rain later this evening. Boy this Capri smokes great.

I dug out some of my knife finishing tools to clean up some tooth chatter and polish the stem. It’s about two grits away from perfect but the highest I have is a 1200 grit stone.

I think it's spot on, ready for duty. Nice job!

No smoking today. Stuffed my face with Redman though.

Is this a thing where you're from or just a Beardsley thing? I like it! Consider it stolen!

Bayou Morning in the Wednesday cob. On the back porch, which is in shade now. 88 and breezy.

WC Rouxgaroux I’m this Morgan Bones pipe. I’ve had a lot of free time during this summer semester if you guys couldn’t tell. Lol.

EDIT: It’s 98 degrees and stale as bread ends left open for days on end.
