They were still sporting the wooden spoked wheels back then right?
It was very nice with power everything, bucket seats and an 8-track. Leather steering wheel.
Firestone Wide Ovals and wire hubcaps.
'71 Cutlass S

Not the SS... No, the S stood for Senior Citizen Edition.
Two door with factory 8-Track, fake wood dash and fake wood door accents.

I wanted a Buick Riviera 455 and even though I was paying (no way was my old man buying me a car)dad said, "no, you'll kill yourself." He was probably right. The Cutlass darn near did a few times.
Mine was a 68. Got a 68 Torino GT convertible next. That was in 69 after I graduated HS. In 71 I got a new T-Bird 429. Much faster than you would think for a big car.

Here's another tobacco tote from the 18th century, spotted at the Vatican Museums today. It shows Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette in relief, and was gifted by Louis XVIII to someone who gave it to someone else, etc., and it eventually was given to Pope Pius XI. I wonder if Pius XI was even a pipe smoker.
