I had to look up the 'decadence parade' to know what was being referred to. There's a lot of very scantily clad men and near-nakedness. I don't know him well at all, but I can imagine this sort of thing would be utter anathema to a man like @Citizen B, who obviously revels in the many vagaries of couture and finery. He likes being well dressed. Pretty sure the DP is the last thing he would be participating in, but he could be a bemused spectator.
