When I was a kid, my father taught me to stop looking at the want ads once I bought a car or motorcycle. You'll always find the one you really wanted for a better price.
Always.

Truth. I'm trying to explain that same concept to my lady about the house we just bought! Lol.

I had to try really hard not to go too far down this rabbit hole and settled on this particular match safe for the time being.

Thought Id toss this up here . I have a Jobey church warden similar to this one and it appears about the same time period . The stain color is the same and the general dimensions . Mine is very good quality and off the chart smoking pipe , it really is , though I dont smoke it enough just because a church warden is a thing I need to me in the mood for [ once monthly about ]
Anyway , given mine is so exceptional , I figure Id post this here for if anyone was eyeballin for a church warden . This one appears in good shape . Jobeys have a screw in stem and this one will too . I know some people dont like them which is why I mention it . The stem has a threaded male and the shank a threaded female . They are plastic , which sounds lame , but they are quite good and many are out there in good shape after how many decades ?

If anyone were interested
