Aother pipe I took from the pass . Let me tell you ... I really really loved this pipe so much . Its lightweight , carved to look like a cob and it smoked super fantastic . Its an Edwards made in Tampa Florida and their pipes are under rated as hell
I broke it the 4th time I smoked it .. gee willikers me , right .
So ... off to Norwoods it goes tomorrow afternoon
Here's what I'm thinking ... instead of a black stem , I wrote instructions for a " yellow orange " color lucite stem as close to the stem color of a MM Cob as he's got . I remember when I used his service for my shop , he had sent me a box of stems in each of the colors he had and there was quite a lot , so I figure he may have one kinda close . Close to semi close is good enough for me
Ill be psyched to get it back as the weather is cooling and this weekend , if Im not working , Im planning on building a " bush craft " hut/cabin/dwelling campsite at " Joeys Palace " on my property . The original thing I built years ago gave way this past Spring . Joseph , Anthony and I would go out there and Id teach them stuff and we had a lot of fun . they learned to shoot there , build fires and construct basic shelters etc ... I may build it bigger this time

@Jlando19 that is all great stuff!
Look. I got some Cotton Boll Twist in another box pass and it totally freaks Mrs.King out. I don't know what to do with it except to bring it out and scare Mrs. King with it. I think this is chewing tobacco but I don't really know. Can someone explain to me what to do with this odd tobacco creation so I can get rid of this thing. Mrs. King will thank you for any advice you can provide. Should I smoke it? I think I should just take a bite off an end and start chawing. I do not know what to do with this.

It's twist chewing tobacco. But it smokes great IF you can handle the nicotine punch. I cut it into multiple pieces to fit into the jar and when I want some I use a cigar cutter to slice it really thin. The slices get rubbed out and it's a really earthy, stout burley smoke.Citizen B wrote: ↑Fri Nov 18, 2022 7:09 pm Look. As said above. Easy way with the cigar cutter is put the cutter flat on the table and insert the twist and slice it. Old timers would use every bit of the tobacco, they would chew it, then leave it out to dry outside, come back the next day and stuff it in a pipe and smoke it.Citizen B wrote: ↑Fri Nov 18, 2022 7:09 pm Look. Yep, common practice here in NC. Well, in past times. I remember the chewed “wad” being left on the mantle to dry.Piping Abe wrote: ↑Fri Nov 18, 2022 7:31 pm Old timers would use every bit of the tobacco, they would chew it, then leave it out to dry outside, come back the next day and stuff it in a pipe and smoke it.
