She said the same thing about Texas when she went to Connecticut? I damn sure believe that. She was preaching the Lone Star Gospel everywhere.
Well, her day job was singing the praises of England, but she never missed an opportunity to pursue her passion project, which was promoting Texas.
I always liked her a lot. I respected her. That doesn't mean that I wanted her to own me, though we could do much worse.

I will have to say I’ve had BBQ cooked in both Eastern and Western NC styles as well as SC, GA, AL and TX style. I grew up on Eastern NC pork vinegar BBQ (Speedy’s in Lexington is tops) and it’s still my favorite.....but a good Texas beef brisket is incredibly delicious.
