I really don’t get how they drill the holes on these!Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 11:22 pmEasy arrow straight drilling on that one. It's one piece made to look like two tied together. Look closely and you can visualize exactly where it's drilled. Even if they needed to change the angle of the draft drilling and keyhole it the band would cover the little bite in the end of the shank
They used to splice parts of the shank together years ago, probably got some newfangled technique nowadays.Piping Abe wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 6:27 amI really don’t get how they drill the holes on these!Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 11:22 pmEasy arrow straight drilling on that one. Finished the living room yesterday. Just got done cutting in the kitchen. Taking a break with some Oak Alley in a Dr. Grabow Sculptura shape 46
Straight through but the draft hole would be offset in the mortise side. Kinda like a Hungarian.Piping Abe wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 6:27 amI really don’t get how they drill the holes on these!Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 11:22 pmEasy arrow straight drilling on that one.
