Not poking fun, but the info could be consolidated in one thread for better.
Nah, we don't need a gear thread. It's not often members talk about gear. This is a pipe forum, if I was the owner I'd do away with the off topic sub forum altogether.
Off topic is what makes it more like friends I think

I can see your point, but at the end of the day pipe and cigar smoking is what brings us all together. You're a Goodfella in my book! 📖

I like seeing that stuff. Pretty cool to see someone watching old stuff all day. You wonder if people are really out there watching the reruns all day. Its cool

It is the first weekend of the main parade season. Lots of people in town. Lots of green, gold, and purple. Everyone is in a good mood.

I went to the Quarter at 2:00 this morning. It was too crowded for me. I couldn't even pull rank at my usual haunts--too much commotion. Even if I had gotten a seat, I would have been miserable. Most people from out of town are blind drunk at that time of day.

It is 11:21AM as I write this. It is already busy. It is raining later today so the parade schedule has been moved forward. Everyone is eating in order to get down to Canal Street around 1:00. That. is when the first floats should hit. It takes them about two hours to travel St. Charles Avenue.

I like Hogan’s Heros as well but my wife dislikes it just as much so I rarely get to watch it. So, in my best Schultz voice, “I see nothing, NOTHING!”

Bob Crane was from Connecticut. He was a DJ there early in his career. He was a pervert, based on the stories I have heard.
