Bourbon--Help!

But to be honest, if I'm drinking whiskey, I'm drinking Canadian whiskey. LTD Canadian whiskey. Man I've developed a soft spot for the stuff. Haven't had it in a while. I've been having red wine with the Mrs for the most part lately, for the health benefits.

Amen on Canadian Whiskey . I like a number of them but damn it all if Canadian Mist really does it for me ...the creamy mouth feel to it .... I freakin love it ! Nothing else has that mouth feel . Forth Creek Barrel select is incredible , I think

Well I had some Jim Beam Honey last night. A bit to sweet so tonight I will go half honey and half regular Beam.
I know its totally different whiskey but I picked up 2 50ml bottles of Cutty Sark. I wanted to give blended scotch a try.

Well guys I found a place with quite a variety of bourbons. I stopped in the cigar bar near me and checked out what they serve in the bar area and I saw 4 bourbons that I have had recommend to me to try.
Looks like I have my Saturday afternoon plans ready.
They do not sell MM's there but , they do have a couple of my favorite hand made cigars.
I do not know anyone to take along with me so I will be flying solo.
Mabey a Cardinal baseball game will be on.

I didnt make it to the cigar shop today. I forgot about the Cinco de Mayo party they have near that shop every year. Oh well another day. I did find a half pint of Evan Williams Black Label today though. I will give it a shot here in a bit. Anyone ever try the white label EW? How do they compare?

Well folks I have to say that all I can taste in the EW is raw alcohol. No flavor just burn. I'm disappointed. I even added a small ice cube. I need something MUCH smoother. Or maybe bourbon just isnt my thing.
