@Ronv69 , I appreciate you opening up this topic, and my only intent was to add my experience and thoughts to the conversation. I'm not trying to shame or blame anyone, and I certainly don't want to get into any debates about the things you brought up. I put this out there knowing that it wouldn't be a popular sentiment here, but in the context of your original post, I thought it important to bring up.

Looks like this thread has been dead for a few months, but I thought I'd add my codger point of view. I've been pretty active in PSF for a few years, and have always found it to be a pleasant diversion...along with being a place to learn more about pipes and tobacco. Through the years I made a few PSF "friends", and have enjoyed the camaraderie. But my friends started disappearing, and with them the exchanges that made PSF worth visiting. I've popped in a couple of times, but still don't seen any of them around. So, that's my story.

Yeah ,the like thing had an effect it seems . That and I think the FB/Reddit groups and stuff like that are probably where its at . The way PSF1 ended , it was a miracle anyone ever made it here to begin with

Its just a smaller group . Maybe with some luck things will pick up . In the mean time , its us :)

I agree with everything you said. First Wildcat left and then we had some really great contributers leave. But for even myself, life has gotten busy to the point where I do not have as much time for the forum but I make an effort to still contribute as much as I can.

Even after some people left we started the Zoom thing and had a great couple of get togethers. Mainly myself, @Ruffinogold and @Citizen B . Wish we got some more guys in there
