Is this a fake savinelli ?

I purchased this pipe from someone he told me that he had purchased it from Spain, I asked Savinelli company about it they told me that it was a fake savinelli pipe, but the pipe seems to be too old to judge and something strange in the stem of this pipe that there are 4 holes in the end of the stem just under the filter place which make it difficult to clean the stem.

Anyone who would take the time to fake a Savinelli deserves the 100 clams that Sav sells brand new ones for.

Ruff should be able to help you out.

I’ve never seen a Savinelli with style of stain. Not saying its not possible, especially in the EU market where the pipe was allegedly purchased.

There are many lines that become available on Europe and never come to the US. Can we see the filter piece your referring to? Based on that picture alone, I can tell you it’s fake. Savinelli has never had that, as far as i’ve known. Snap a photo and post it

Easy for China to do it. I’ve seen Chinese Pipes with a lot of other brands logos on them. Its easy to put a stamp on something

Your description of the stem doesn't paint a picture for me, but it didn't sound like something Savinelli would do.. You can buy a Rossi by Savinelli for 72 bucks.

If Savinelli told you it was fake , Id go with what they said :thumbs:

I cant imagine anyone would want to fake a Savinelli , but stranger shit has happened for sure , so apparently someone went through the trouble of faking them
