Well
One could say that I’ve been slacking off here

Part of my last years secret Santa package has been front and center staring at me on my desk Long Enough!

Got up early 2am this morning as usual and sitting in my home office trying to keep quiet and not wake up every on I grabbed this nice pipe and started hand sanding and smoothing it down
Wiped it down with 100 proof
Just took it down to the buffer wheels

Need to blow out the dust bunnies and should be good to go
Thanks Again Santa

I have an old jeweler’s two wheel buffer that I picked up at an estate auction years ago. Actually the motor turns too fast for pipe and stem work but the replacement buffer wheels I last ordered were not the same size diameter mounting holes so they are loose and slip
So the more pressure I put in them the slower they go
Win win
