I lost my best friend , Simon , early yesterday morning . I really loved that guy and he was a supreme pipe smoker. Im pretty crushed over it and feel like theres a void that cant be filled from here on out . We had the best conversations Ive ever had and for many years , until more recently , they were over a pipe
I wish you guys could have known him but he was like the majority of pipe smokers who dont do " pipe stuff " online . If you're unaware , we are the weirdos .. just sayn

His go to was Stokkebye Bullseye . Some years ago I turned him on to Middletons Cherry blend and he went through a pretty long phase of that blend . We smoked Redcoat otc together , which is where he was from [ Merry Olde England ] . He really liked Ogdens Walnut like me and we had a number of those together .

Simon was a fantastic artist and an exceptional drummer who did quite well in the 80's drumming in England . He was an artistic person in every sense and everything he did was beautiful . Im going to miss him alot

John, very sorry to hear about your friend Simon. I always enjoyed reading and hearing your stories about him. You can see that you guys had a great friendship. And it is even better than you enjoyed your time over a nice smoke.

So sorry to hear of your friend's passing, John. That's a tough loss to bear. May he rest in eternal peace, and his memory be carried on through you and his other loved ones.
