Good morning, smoking dark flake scented in a Kiko hybrid, a bit of a late start today because I was up with my littlest guy all night.I got about an hour of shut eye.

The BST and the Silver Duke are calling to me from the rack. I am staying strong.

True that... I will admit I have missed the briars. The meers are not getting much chance to cool down. I have seen progress with the color.

An interesting quality of the ziptie meer is that the crack on the side is pretty visible when cold. There is a small gap despite having the ziptie tightas I can get it. When warm, the gap closes and is barely visible. I am not sure if this is due to expansion with heat and an effective tightening of the ziptie or some internal stress in the block when cold that may have led to the cracking in the first place - something to ponder.
