I have plans to make a mixture 79 plug (because, awesome) and a brylon would create the perfect storm for mythbusting

When I set out to acquire a brylon back when ever that was, I was looking for basically this pot. Someone offered s billiard with a 7/8 in bowl for $6.50 shipped. I decided that while it was not a pot, it was going to be close enough.Bruyere_Royale wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 12:59 pmThat was the pot I sort of hinted to Father Tom before I knew he was already holding.Mr Beardsley wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 12:54 pmI know. I am probably going to wait until August to smoke mine. I have a new corndog, and it is going to wait until the July Corndog Fry.
Having learned my lesson this month, I am not going to commit to all brylon every day, but I might decide to make the brylon the "traveling" pipe (like the Rob Roy this month). That will get it some field service, and I can properly weigh in with a verdict. MMM gives meerschaums a qualified review. They are fun, and I am glad I did it. They don't smoke the same things well, and much of my smoking involves things that work well in the briars. I worry about the meers breaking breaking and I am overcautious with them.

My brylons from the Etsy lady got here yesterday. I'll post some pictures tomorrow in the latest pipe acquisitions thread.
