I tried to read this whole thread from the beginning, Page One. I. made it to halfway through Page Five. It is interesting, but there is only so much brain power I want to dedicate to thinking about hats. There are pipes and cigars to think about!

I dunno, I was born in way east Texas (Newton) and I don’t recall anything quite that original. Must be a N’Awlins cowboy on the lam :tumble:

Just acquired this Pendleton crusher hat from a family friend. I dig it wife hates it heck she even hates the tie dye tee shirts! Guess I’m not getting lucky tonight...
