The kind with the wire, the kind I think of as "the scrubby:" I hate these.

The craft store pipe cleaner: Probably full of Chinese toxins.

The fluffy: Tolerable.

The tapered fluffy: Neither better nor worse than the regular fluffy.

Your standard pipe cleaner: Good for many situations.

The skinny one made for a Falcon: GOOD FOR ALL SITUATIONS.

YMMV.

Craft store toxic Chinese pipe cleaners are no longer true pipe cleaners and are derived from a super secret non-moisture absorbing compound extracted from bat feces that are found in most wet markets.

Well, the really good wet markets anyway.

I think pipe cleaners from china really sums up communism as a whole

Im a dills fan . JB Long [ the regular ones ] are fine too but I buy Dills . I saw that MacBaren has a line of cleaners out and I might try a pack for fun when I make my next order , whenever that is . I think the crap ones [ china and the like ] should be called Craft something or other . God forbid they try being used on a pipe

I’m a dills man. Only because that’s what’s available at the gas station here in town. I don’t plan on switching brands unless they do. I am probably the only person who buys them. I tried Zen pipe cleaners one time when DarkFlake sent me a care package and they were fine. If that’s what my gas station sold I would be alright with that.

Dills here too. I've used others from time to time if they're on sale, but Dills are best IMO.

All this time, I've thought they are called BJ Long pipe cleaners.

Dills. Also the guy at the tobacco shop I go to has these really long no name cleaners that are absorbent and cheap. They are probably 18” long, I snip them in half.

Dills are what I use when I can find them around here. I've been using Ream and Kleen and that are not good at all, more of a bristle brush. BJ Longs are another reliable pipe cleaner.
