I made pancakes on Mother's Day for my wife, daughter and granddaughter. We were out of pancake mix so I looked up a simple recipe online. I doctored it a little and it was a big hit! I will never use boxed again!

I have decided to have fish for breakfast tomorrow.

I wish I had some pork roll to go with it but it's too late to go to the store tonight.

Two fried eggs, four Bob Evans chain link sausages, toast with Welch's grape jelly and coffee. The Dearwife watches my cholesterol and sugar intake like Sherlock Holmes on stakeout. The dear lady succumbs to my hangdog expression now and then when she hands me rice cakes and fruit or some such and fixes more substantial fare. Not often enough though. I love it when we have overnight guests. She always fixes a big breakfast and can't keep me out of it.
