The orange house is La Belle Esplanade, our business. The green house is four apartments. I do not think of them as three separate homes since I live in a compound, essentially. We do own all three buildings and the gardens behind them. It is both a blessing and a curse, as I always say.Ruffinogold wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 5:52 pm im never sure what Im looking at . Sounds like we're supposed to feed the chickens shrimp and crawfish shells... The blowback on that is going to be epic

I am sure you've told me before but who is it?

New Orleans is different from anywhere else. It needs to be experienced to be understood. New Orleans plays by a game that has its own rules. New Orleans is a city of old traditions that predate most places in America. New Orleans is not a woke paradise. Being itself, true to its traditional roots, New Orleans is like no place else. It is many things to many people. We all have a little New Orleans in us if we forget to be sad.

It is a good statue, and, you are right. This statue is 1.9 miles from my house. I pass it when I visit my barber on Decatur Street! It used to be in the train station but then they moved it to the park where Bienville Street crosses Decatur.
