Frank dropped offline back in November, and his wife recently reached out to let folks know he passed over from a massive heart attack at that time.

He was a mentor. He was humble.

Peace.

That's a shame, but not entirely unexpected I guess. I remember him posting about his health a few times, once he said he even died in his La-Z-boy...literally. He was a good guy and made real contributions to PSF. He was a funny guy too. I know some guys knew him from Boswell meet ups and really enjoyed talking with him. Rest in peace Frank.

I had a tremendous amount of respect for DarkFlake. I was the one who nominated him for the Old Ted award. At some point a few years ago, I acquired the GBD Prehistoric (in the rotation now) from him.

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord;
and let light perpetual shine upon him.

May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace

My condolences to Franks family and friends, seems like the good ones always go far too soon.

I looked up my info on the GBD DarkFlake sent me, and it was April 28, 2016. It is odd I would get the news of his death on the anniversary of the day he sent me the pipe.
